What Sponsorship Includes

In Sierra Leone your $39-$44/mo provides daily access* to:

• extra-curricular activities for all students (additional $5 for off-campus students, so $44/mo)

Letter Writing

Each year we get to deliver personalized letters/pictures to your sponsor child (and receive a response)! We will indicate through our website, Email and social media. when these opportunities arise, and whether these may be hand-made or via email. You can email andrew@hoperisingtogether.com to find out the Do’s and Don’ts!

Christmas Gifts

Every Year you get to provide a child with a Christmas gift, This is so beautiful because many of the children have little to nothing. You can make your $30 donation by check or you can pay online here. Would you consider giving an additional $30 to help cover the cost of unsponsored/unfunded students? (We currently have 45 unsponsored students). THANK YOU so much!

Annual Ornaments

Perhaps our most longstanding tradition, we have each student in Sierra Leone finger-paint and customize a set of hanging ornaments. We then catalog them by student, and distribute one to each sponsor! Additional copies are available for purchase so you can further share this unique piece of art and connection.

Unanticipated change is part of daily reality for a community experiencing extreme need. As a result, sometimes you may receive a message from us about changes to your sponsorship. It’s never fun, but we’ve tried to provide some support and a better understanding.
